HOLIDAYS IN THE MOUNTAINS

Our small but comfortable hotel proposes for lovers of mountains a holiday in one of the 100 best villages of Italy situated in the wonderful landscape of the Gran Sasso National Park.

Apart from the quietness and the uncontaminated nature of the Park, our guests will be able to make excursions on foot or with snow rackets.

For lovers of cross-country skiing at about 10 km far they can find the ski slopes of the Piana di Campo Imperatore, with support at the shelter of the Racollo Lake which is straight near the slopes. For lovers of alpine skiing, they have at their disposal the skiing complex of Campo Imperatore at about 50 minutes by car (2,200 m on the sea level, famous for its excellent snow), Campo Felice, Monte Magnola and with a car trip of about 1 hour they can reach Roccaraso (the largest skiing complex in Abruzzo).

Obviously the most important characteristics of this kind of holiday are: quietness, beautiful landscapes (it is easy to be able to see the wild animals living on our mountains: foxes, wild boars, deer, roe deer, birds of prey and luckily even wolves) and, last but not the least, the excellent cooking, which is rich of the products from our mountains (lentils , saffron, cheese, truffle) which will delight your stay at our hotel.
